Art is more than entertainment. Art is the most precious brain trust we have among the many treasures within our families, our cultures, our nation, and our world. 


JOB OPENING: The Arts Council of Central Louisiana (ACCL) is currently seeking the qualified candidate to fill our Community Development Coordinator (CDC) position.  The successful CDC candidate will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies for the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center, as well as marketing and communications responsibilities for the Arts Council of Central Louisiana.  This will include the supervision and coordination of the Louisiana Division of the Arts Decentralized Arts Fund regrant process, as well as the annual Martin Foundation grant process. The qualified candidate will also research new grant opportunities, and be lead grant writer for the ACCL. Desktop publishing skills required.  This position works closely with the ACCL office administrator and reports to the Executive Director.  Compensation includes salary commensurate with experience, plus optional health coverage.  Please send resume and examples of graphic design work to matt@louisiana-arts.org.
